About Us

Green Media Initiatives (GMI) is a non-political, non-sectarian, and non-profit organization registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance, 1961. The organization works voluntarily to strengthen journalism and media institutions for effective, accurate, and impactful coverage of environmental issues.

GMI is dedicated to building the capacity of journalists and media professionals across print, broadcast, and digital platforms. We believe that informed, ethical, and solution-oriented environmental journalism is essential for creating public awareness, influencing policy, and encouraging sustainable action.
